Cable Newspaper Journalism Foundation (CNJF) is a not-for-profit organisation registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with CAC/IT/NO 90642.
CNJF uses the vehicle of journalism to advance transparency and accountability in government. It also seeks to build an active citizenry “to promote democracy and development”. The Foundation is a subscriber to “solutions journalism” — a school that believes in rigorous reporting of positive response to problems and challenges.
Established in 2016, CNJF, also known as the Cable Foundation, is driven by three core values: diligence, impact and social justice. CNJF is a partner organisation to Cable Newspaper Limited, publishers of TheCable online newspaper.
